SOMA, MOTHER OF STUDENT

Thank you for your thoughts and your advice. As my daughter is preparing for GCSE's it is extremely useful to have Tower Notes as a reliable resource.

SAMANTHA, NEW ENGLISH TEACHER, COLWYN BAY

Your notes are brilliant. I could not have got through my degree without them!

RYAN, STUDENT

Thank you very much for your fantastic customer service!

TASMEEN

I do thank you very much. I look forward to seeing Howards End on the list. I am tutoring for A-level and it is a complicated book.

CATHERINE, SUBJECT LEADER FOR ENGLISH, HILLINGDON

If you had been able to provide such helpful notes on The Turn of the Screw as the ones on King Lear, you would do very well with sales as there is nothing much out there. The text is on the OCR syllabus right now and many students struggle with it.

DAVID, HEAD OF ENGLISH, CHELMSFORD

They do look to be definitely superior to York Notes and the like. I shall recommend them to my students.

JASON

I just want to say a big Thank You to you and Tower Notes! I have successfully downloaded the Notes for Journey’s End. The notes are really helpful!

MARCIA, ENGLISH TEACHER

I found your notes very useful. Many thanks for your help.

AILEEN, ENGLISH TEACHER, CHESHIRE

Thank you for the Jane Eyre notes which look fantastic. I have also purchased The Whitsun Weddings.

HANNAH

I greatly enjoyed your site and your extensive view points on so many crucial works. Your website has made a wonderful start and I will recommend it to others.

LARRY, FORMER HEAD OF ENGLISH, LANCASHIRE

As a Head of English teaching these texts for more years than I would like to admit, it is refreshing to come across resources that are so fresh and engaging. They make me read the texts with new eyes and I am looking forward to my next lesson!

VANESSA, UNIVERSITY STUDENT

These notes are brilliant, engaging and clarifying insights into texts which are so frequently mystified, and difficult for a student of literature to approach confidently. They offer a way into studying popular University English literature texts in the quality needed for degree level and therefore can provide the basis for a more adept engagement with many other texts which may be covered on the syllabus. Covering a broad range of styles, genres and periods (and with the promise of more to come!), these notes offer me as a 1st year English Literature student a leg up to engaging with the literature on a deeper level. Every student should know about them and every seminar tutor should recommend them. What more could a Literature student ask for from a website of literature notes?

SAM, UNIVERSITY STUDENT

I was required to write an essay on both Jane Eyre and John Donne’s poetry in my first term at Durham and I decided to buy both sets of notes from Tower Notes in order to help me. I found the notes to be incredibly helpful, not only for my essays, but also for my own understanding. The notes enabled me to look at the texts in a way I had not considered before.
